| 3/4 C shortening |
| 1 C sugar |
| 1 C mashed bananas |
| 1 egg |
| 1 t vanilla |
| 1 1/2 C flour |
| 1/2 t soda |
| 1 t Baking Powder |
| 1/2 t salt |
| 1/4 t nutmeg |
| 3/4 t cinnamon |
| 1 C quick cooking oatmeal |
| 1/2 C chopped nuts |
| Descriptions |
| 'Blend shortning and sugar together until creamy. Stir in the bananas,then eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add to banana mixture. Blend in oatmeal and nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 12 minutes.' |
