| 1 C light brown sugar |
| 1- 8 oz box dates |
| 1 beaten egg |
| 1t vanilla |
| 3/4 C crisp cereal (Rice Krispies) |

| 'Combine butter,brown sugar,and dates in a skillet. Cook over low heat until dates are mushy. Remove from heat and stir in egg and return to burner. Cook for 5 minutes,stirring often so it won''t stick on the bottom. Remove from heat,stir in vanilla,nuts,and cereal. Mix well,shape into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in tightly closed containers.' |
