| 1 gallon cucumbers thinly sliced |
| 4 medium onions sliced |
| 4 green peppers sliced |
| 1/2 C. salt |
| 5 C. white vinegar |
| 5 C. sugar |
| 3 T. (heaping) pickling spice |
| 1 1/2 t. tumeric |
| Descriptions |
| 'Mix cucumbers,onions,peppers and salt. Let stand 3 hours and drain Heat sugar,vinegar,and spices to a boil. Add cucumber mixture Heat through till start of a boil,but do not boil. Pack in jars and seal.' |
